For the 1999.5-03 7.3L Power Stokes, these Turbo Compressor Wheels feature a "lowered vane" design which efficiently increases more air volume. Improvements includes lower exhaust temperatures, reduced turbo lag during low and mid range rpms, and virtually eliminates compressor surge (a common problem at 1800-2100rpms).
For the 1994-early 1999 is is a new factory replacement, which is an upgrade for late 1999.5-03 7.3L.
This design is commonly sold as an upgraded wheel under many different names. It can be installed in about an hour.

I had the common turbo surge and got this and it fixed it. sounds really good too has more turbo whine than stock and spools up quicker too. just wish i had found kt performance before i over paid more money for mine.

I bought this turbo wheel several months ago, and have been anxious to install it, just got around to it tonight and boy I must say this is an awesome addition/upgrade to a 1999.5-2003 7.3 PSD. I did not know what to expect aside from what it was described as and it was everything plus more. As soon as I drove it I experienced immediate spool, throttle response and an awesome whistle. It is definetly a must have, and definettly worth the $70 upgrade. Really made a difference! I just wanted to thank KT for their awesome customer service, quick delivery and lowest prices around because it is what is keeping me as a customer! Thanks again! I will be ordering again soon.

I had this installed today by the local shop and I could instantly feel the difference! Fast throttle response, more boost, and a ton more whistle from the turbo! Great bang for the buck mod here!
Had a small issue with fedex on the first package but Kenny quickly helped me with a replacement!

-I have not been able to get my turbo off to install this.....
But KT Performance is the Best!
