This Revolution Gear & Axle ring and pinion set fits the Chrysler 9.25" rear axle used from 1970-2018, cut in a 4.56 ratio. The dual-drilled ring gear carries two bolt patterns so a single part covers both earlier and later 9.25" carriers.

The gears use a 29-spline pinion, a 9.25" ring gear, dual ring gear bolt threads for the two bolt patterns, and heat-treated 8620 steel, in standard rotation. There is no carrier break on this gear family, so a 4.56 works without changing carriers.

A 4.56 ratio is a deeper gear aimed at Dodge and Chrysler trucks running larger tires that need to recover acceleration, towing torque, and drivability lost to the taller rubber. It puts the engine back in a usable RPM range for both daily driving and pulling.
