This Revolution Gear and Axle ring and pinion set is a 3.90 ratio rear gear for the Chrysler 9.25 inch rear axle across 1970-18 applications. The dual-drilled ring gear lets one part cover a broad range of years.

The gears use a 2-Cut face hobbed process followed by lapping, matching OE manufacturing for quiet, durable operation. The set features a 29-spline pinion, a 9.25 inch ring gear and standard rotation, with no carrier break to work around. The ring gear is drilled for both 7/16 inch and 12mm bolts.

A 3.90 ratio is a practical pick for half-ton Dodge and Chrysler trucks and SUVs that tow or have stepped up a tire size, giving more usable torque without the deep cruising RPM of a 4.10 or higher.

This is a gear set only. It does not include bearings, an install kit or a limited slip/locker. Plan on the matching Revolution Chrysler 9.25 master install kit and have the gears set up by an experienced installer to get pinion depth, backlash and preload right.
