The XDP HD Grid Heater Relay Fusible Link Wire is a direct replacement for 1994-2002 Dodge 2500 and 3500 with the 5.9L Cummins trucks that use dual grid heater relays with same-length wiring.

This is the battery-to-relay grid heater wire. It is built from heavy-duty 8-gauge wire with an integrated fuse link for circuit protection, and it replicates the factory function and routing. It cross references to 14259.

Grid heater feed wires see heavy current every cold start, and after years of engine heat they can corrode, overheat or melt down at the fuse link. When that happens, the grid heater stops doing its job and cold starts get rough. If you are in a cold climate or the old wire looks cooked, replace it before winter.
