XDP Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor for Dodge/Ram (2007.5-12) 6.7L Cummins (Fits Multiple Positions)

The XDP Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensor is a direct-fit replacement for a failed EGT sensor on 2007.5-2012 Dodge/Ram 2500 and 3500, and 2008-2012 Ram 4500 and 5500 with the 6.7L Cummins.

The same sensor is used in several spots in the exhaust: before the diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), after the DOC, and after the diesel particulate filter (DPF). On 2011-2012 cab and chassis models, it is also used after the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst. It is built to match the original sensor and replaces OE numbers 5149085AC and 5149085AB.

These sensors live in extreme heat and are a common failure point on the 6.7L emissions system. A bad EGT sensor can set codes and interfere with DPF regeneration, which can quickly turn into a derate on a truck that is working or towing.

This sensor is sold individually. Use your trouble codes or a scan tool to confirm which position has failed before you order. Apply penetrating oil to the old sensor and let it soak before removal, use anti-seize on the new threads unless the sensor already has it, and route the lead away from hot exhaust parts. Clear codes once the repair is complete.
