This Revolution Gear & Axle Discovery Series front axle kit is a 4340 chromoly, 27-spline shaft set for the Dana 30 front axle in Jeep Wrangler TJ and YJ and Cherokee XJ models. It replaces the weaker factory front shafts and joints with stronger chromoly pieces.

The kit includes two 4340 chromoly inner axles, two 4340 chromoly outer stub axles, two Dana Spicer 5-760X U-joints, and eight full-circle snap rings to hold everything together. The 27-spline design matches the factory Dana 30 carrier.

It is aimed at owners who have added larger tires and a locker and are breaking or twisting stock front shafts, or who simply want to strengthen the front axle ahead of harder trail use.

This is an axle shaft kit only – it does not include a ring and pinion, carrier or gears, and axle seals are not included. The chromoly shafts are covered by a 10-year warranty against defects and breakage, while the included Spicer U-joints carry a 1-year warranty; wear items such as bearings and seals are excluded.
