Revolution Gear & Axle Ring & Pinion Set for Dana 44 (5.13 Ratio, Thick, Dual Drilled)

This Revolution Gear and Axle ring and pinion set is a 5.13 ratio thick-cut gear for the Dana 44 axle. The thick ring gear is designed to run on a numerically lower (3.73 and down) carrier, which makes a deep re-gear possible without a carrier swap.

The set is dual drilled with both 3/8 inch and 7/16 inch ring gear bolt patterns, uses a 26-spline pinion and an 8.5 inch ring gear, and is standard rotation with a 3.73/3.92 carrier break. Gears are 8620 steel, heat treated to OE-level standards and lapped for quiet running.

A thick 5.13 is the gear to reach for on Dana 44 builds running 37s and larger that need to keep an existing low-ratio carrier, common on TJ, XJ and similar rigs adding serious tire size.

This is a gear set only. It does not include bearings, an install kit or a limited slip/locker. Plan on the matching Revolution Dana 44 master install kit and have an experienced installer set pinion depth, backlash and preload to spec, accounting for the thick-gear carrier requirement.
