Revolution Gear & Axle Ring & Pinion Set for Dana 44 (4.10 Ratio, Thick, Dual Drilled)

This Revolution Gear and Axle ring and pinion set is a 4.10 ratio thick-cut gear for the Dana 44 axle. The thick ring gear is made to run on a numerically lower (3.73 and down) carrier, which simplifies a re-gear from tall factory ratios.

The set is dual drilled with both 3/8 inch and 7/16 inch ring gear bolt patterns, uses a 26-spline pinion and an 8.5 inch ring gear, and is standard rotation with a 3.73/3.92 carrier break. Gears are 8620 steel, heat treated to OE-level standards and lapped for quiet running.

This thick 4.10 is ideal when you want to drop to 4.10 gears but keep the existing low-ratio carrier, common on TJ, XJ and other Dana 44 builds adding tire size without swapping the carrier.

This is a gear set only. It does not include bearings, an install kit or a limited slip/locker. Plan on the matching Revolution Dana 44 master install kit and have an experienced installer set pinion depth, backlash and preload to spec, paying attention to the thick-gear carrier requirement.

For a Dana 44 build moving to 4.10s on a taller carrier, a thick, dual-drilled ring and pinion is a clean, OE-quality solution.
