Revolution Gear & Axle Ring & Pinion Set for Toyota 8" IFS Front (5.29 Ratio, 29-Spline, Thin)

This Revolution Gear & Axle ring and pinion set is built for the Toyota 8.0-inch IFS front differential. Fitment includes 2005–23 Tacoma and other Toyota 8" IFS front applications, in a deep 5.29 ratio.

The set is reverse-cut with a 29-spline pinion on the 8.0-inch ring gear, uses 10 x 11MM ring gear bolts, and is a thin-cut design that installs on the 3.90-and-up carrier (3.73/3.91 carrier break). Gears are cut from 8620 steel and heat treated to OE-level specifications.

A 5.29 ratio is popular with Tacoma owners running large tires who need their low-end torque and drivability restored. It is one of the deeper ratios available for this axle, well suited to heavily built trucks.

This is a gear set only. Bearings, an install kit and any locker are not included and are sold separately; add a Revolution Toyota 8" IFS master install kit for the bearings, crush sleeve, shims, seal and hardware. Confirm your carrier matches the thin (3.90-and-up) gear before ordering.
