This is the Revolution Gear & Axle ring and pinion set for the Toyota 8-inch reverse rotation front axle in 1990–97 Land Cruiser 80 Series and 1991–97 Lexus LX450, in a 5.29 ratio with a 27-spline pinion. It is a deep front regear for the 80 Series platform.

The set is machined from 8620 alloy steel and heat treated to meet or exceed OE standards. It uses the Land Cruiser 8-inch 27-spline pinion and an 8.0-inch ring gear in a reverse rotation cut, with no carrier break in this application.

A 5.29 is a deep ratio aimed at 80 Series and LX450 owners running large tires who want maximum gear reduction for crawling and to recover drivability lost to oversized meats. The reverse rotation cut is what makes it correct for the front axle.

This is a gear set only. It does not include bearings, a crush sleeve, shims, or a pinion seal, and it does not include a carrier or any traction device. As always, match the front and rear ratios and plan on a master install kit.
