This Revolution Gear and Axle ring and pinion set is a 3.55 ratio gear for the Ford 8.8 inch rear axle, one of the most widely used Ford rear ends across trucks, SUVs and cars. It is a sensible ratio for street and light-tow use.

The set features a 30-spline pinion, an 8.8 inch ring gear and standard rotation, with no carrier break to work around and the factory 10 x 7/16 inch ring gear bolt pattern. Gears are 8620 steel, heat treated to OE-level standards and lapped for quiet running.

A 3.55 ratio keeps highway RPM low while adding a little more pep than the tallest factory ratios, making it a good fit for stock-height trucks or mild builds that still see plenty of pavement.
