This is the Revolution Gear & Axle open differential internal gear kit for the 1993–06 Dana 35 rear axle with 27-spline shafts and a 1.5-inch side gear hub. It rebuilds the guts of a standard open (non-Posi) Dana 35 carrier with all-new gears and washers.

The kit includes 2 side gears, 2 pinion (spider) gears, 4 thrust washers, and the cross pin along with its cross pin bolt or roll pin. The side gears are cut for 27-spline axle shafts, so confirm your spline count and the 1.5-inch hub size before ordering.

This is a service and replacement part for owners rebuilding a worn or damaged open differential – common on the Dana 35 rears found under many Jeep TJ, YJ, and XJ models from this era after spider gears get chipped or worn from one-wheel spinning.

Keep in mind this rebuilds an open carrier only; it does not convert the axle to a limited-slip or locker, and it does not include ring and pinion gears, carrier bearings, or an install kit. If you also need traction, plan on a separate locker or limited-slip carrier.
