The aFe Stage 2 cold air intake produces up to 8HP and up to 17 lbs. x ft. torque while outflowing the factory intake by up to 117%. This intake is a highly engineered heat-shielded air box with a one-piece intake tube. Handling filter duties is the PRO 5R performance air filter that features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. The PRO 5R filter is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles. The heat-insulating, molded plastic intake tube is engineered for improved volumetric efficiency and maximum performance while lowering Intake Air Temps (I.A.T). Utilizing factory mounting points, this system provides a hassle free installation.
Durable Heat Shield-A one-piece powder-coated heat-shield is used to keep the air intake charge cool and dense.
5-1/2" 360 Degree Air Filter-A cone 360 degree round air filter is used for maximum flow and performance filtration (98.6% efficient). The PRO 5R performance air filter features 5-layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media and is constructed with 100% polyurethane for long life and multiple cleaning cycles.

This intake is 50-state legal (CARB E.O Number D-550-4).

I bought this for a performance improvement.
It makes a lot of noise with no performance.
I have to wash the filters every 3 months because they are plugged solid.
The yellow button gets sucked all the way in at three months.
I changed my original Ford every 8 years, just for something to do.
The yellow button never moved (wasn't sure if it worked, but it obviously does work).
