PPE Xcelerator, Chevy/GMC/Cadillac/Hummer/Pontiac (1998-07) Gas Engines

PPE's Xcelerator GS offers three different power settings: Performance, Towing and Economy. Performance tuning gives you full power and acceleration. It advances the engine’s ignition timing up to 10% and adds more fuel and air, all of which means max horsepower numbers. It will also increase shift points by 4 mph, keeping the transmission in sync with the new power band. The Towing setting is optimal for towing heavy loads and does this by advancing the engine timing up to 10% for
maximum torque and by increasing the shift points by 2 mph. The Economy tuning will maximize your fuel economy. By advancing the timing 5%, the engine is optimized to work easier which saves fuel. It also allows a low octane fuel grade
to be used, thus savings at the pump even further.
