Description
This PPE mandrel bend is a 3.5" OD 304 stainless tube with a 180° bend on a 5.5" centerline radius, universal for large custom exhaust fabrication.
It is 16-gauge (0.060") 304 stainless, so it resists corrosion and stands up to exhaust heat far better than mild steel. The mandrel bend preserves the full diameter through the turn to keep flow clean.
A 3.5" 180° U-bend is a workhorse piece for a big turbo-diesel exhaust, since it can be cut into two shorter bends of nearly any angle. It is the right stock for a serious stainless build.
The tube is meant to be cut and welded to length by a competent fabricator. Covered by PPE’s 1-year limited warranty.
