Description
This PPE mandrel bend is a 3.5" OD aluminum tube with a 180° bend on a 5.5" centerline radius, universal for custom fabrication.
It is formed from 12-gauge (0.080") aluminum – light but thick enough to weld and hold up under use. The mandrel bend keeps the full diameter through the turn so airflow stays clean.
A 180° U-bend is one of the most useful pieces to stock, since a fabricator can cut it into two shorter bends of almost any angle. It suits large 3.5" intake, intercooler, and charge-air builds.
The tube is meant to be cut and welded to length by a competent fabricator. Covered by PPE’s 1-year limited warranty.
