Description
This is a PPE straight silicone reducer that steps from 5.5" down to 4.5" ID over a 3.0" length, built from 6mm, 5-ply silicone. It links two different-diameter tubes in a charge-air or intake run.
The 5-ply build takes boost and heat without deforming, and the molded taper makes a clean transition between the two diameters instead of a restrictive step. It’s a staple for large-diameter intercooler and turbo plumbing.
Use it wherever your piping needs to change from 5.5" to 4.5" – such as matching a large intercooler tube to a smaller connection downstream. Seat each end fully on its matching tube bead.
Clamp both ends with clamps sized to each connection and re-check after a few heat cycles. Backed by a PPE 1-Year Limited Warranty.
