PPE 5.5" to 4.0" 5-Ply Silicone Reducer (Universal)

This is a PPE 5-ply silicone reducer that steps 5.5″ down to 4.0″ over a 5.0″ length. It is a universal coupler for joining two large tube sizes in intake and charge-air plumbing.

The 5-ply, 6mm-thick wall gives the reducer the strength to hold boost pressure and resist engine-bay heat, and the longer 5.0″ body eases the transition across a bigger diameter change. The silicone flexes to absorb vibration and engine movement between rigid pipes.

It is the right piece for large intake tracts and intercooler routing where a 5.5″ pipe has to mate to a 4.0″ component under boost.

Slip the reducer over both tube ends and secure each side with a properly sized T-bolt clamp for a pressure-tight connection. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
