Description
This is a PPE straight silicone reducer that steps from 5.0" down to 4.0" ID over a 5.0" length, built from 6mm, 5-ply silicone. It connects two different-diameter tubes in a charge-air or intake run.
The 5-ply construction handles boost pressure and heat without ballooning or collapsing, and the molded taper gives a smooth transition between the two sizes instead of a restrictive step. It’s a common building block on high-flow intercooler and turbo plumbing.
Use it anywhere your piping changes from 5.0" to 4.0" – for example, matching a larger intercooler outlet to smaller downstream tubing. Slide each end fully onto its matching tube bead.
Clamp both ends with clamps sized to each connection and check them after a few heat cycles. Backed by a PPE 1-Year Limited Warranty.
