Revolution Gear & Axle Ring & Pinion Set for Jeep Dana 30 Front Axle (4.10 Ratio, Standard Rotation)

This Revolution Gear & Axle ring and pinion set fits the standard-rotation Dana 30 front axle. It suits front Dana 30 applications such as 1972–86 CJ and 1993–96 Grand Cherokee, in a 4.10 ratio.

The set uses a 26-spline pinion on the 7.2-inch Dana 30 ring gear with 10 x 3/8" ring gear bolts and a 10-bolt cover, and installs on the 3.55/3.73 carrier. Gears are cut from 8620 steel and heat treated to OE-level specifications for quiet, durable operation.

A 4.10 ratio is a mild, popular re-gear for older Dana 30 front axles running modestly larger tires, bringing back drivability without going overly deep. Front and rear ratios must match, so this front set is normally paired with a matching rear ring and pinion.

This is a gear set only. Bearings, an install kit and any locker are not included and are sold separately; add a Revolution Dana 30 master install kit for the bearings, crush sleeve, shims, seal and hardware. Confirm your carrier break before ordering.
