This is a Revolution Gear & Axle ring and pinion gear set built for Dana 35 standard-rotation rear axles in a 3.08 ratio. It is the gear set itself, designed to drop your cruising RPM and restore drivability on rigs running close to factory tire sizes.

The set uses a 26-spline pinion and a 7.562 inch ring gear in 8620 alloy steel, cut and heat treated to meet or exceed original equipment standards. The Dana 35 carrier break falls at 3.31/3.54, so a 3.08 ratio runs on the numerically lower carrier – verify which carrier your axle has before installing.

A 3.08 is a numerically low ratio, so it suits owners who want lower highway RPM and quieter cruising rather than a big tire or off-road regear. If you have gone to larger tires, a numerically higher ratio is usually the better choice.

This is a gear set only. Bearings, crush sleeve, shims, pinion seal and ring gear bolts are sold separately, and no carrier or locker is included. Plan to add a Revolution Dana 35 master install kit and have the gears set up by an experienced installer, since pinion depth, backlash and bearing preload determine how the gears live.
