This is a 4.88 ratio front ring and pinion gear set for the Dana 44 (M210) front axle in 2018-26 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT and 2021-26 Ford Bronco. It is the gear set itself, cut in the 2-cut face hobbed style used on these newer axles.

Revolution cuts these gears using a face hobbed, or 2-cut, process followed by lapping, the same method as the OE brands, which gives equal tooth height heel to toe for quieter operation and higher load capacity. The set is reverse rotation with a 28-spline pinion on an 8.66-inch ring gear and a 12-bolt cover pattern. Carrier break is listed at 3.07 ratio.

Owners of late-model JL, JT and Bronco rigs who have moved up in tire size will want a deeper ratio like 4.88 to restore power and crawling control. This is the front piece for a matched M210/M220 regear.

This listing is the gear set only. Pinion and carrier bearings, crush sleeve, shims, pinion seal and cover sealant are not included, and a carrier or locker is separate. Add a Revolution M210 front master install kit for the bearings, and have an experienced installer set the pattern and backlash.
