Description
This Revolution Gear & Axle master install kit overhauls the Chrysler 9.25-inch ZF rear end. It fits the 2001–18 9.25 ZF axle used in many Dodge and Ram applications of that period.
The kit includes Timken pinion and carrier bearings plus a crush sleeve, pinion and carrier shims, a pinion seal, ring gear bolts and cover gasket/silicone. Notably, it includes non-ZF ring gear bolts to suit aftermarket ring and pinion gears.
It is the right kit when re-gearing or rebuilding a 9.25 ZF axle. Once your gears are chosen, this kit provides the bearings and shims needed to set pinion depth, backlash and preload correctly.
This kit does not include the ring and pinion gears, which are sold separately, and it does not include axle bearings or axle seals. Confirm you have the ZF-built 9.25 (not the earlier non-ZF) before ordering.
