This Revolution Gear and Axle ring and pinion set is a 5.13 ratio rear gear for the Dana 44 in all 2007-18 Jeep Wrangler JK models. It is the gear to reach for when bigger tires have wiped out your factory ratio.

The set uses the JK-specific rear cut, with a 24-spline pinion and 8.5 inch ring gear sized for the JK rear housing, and a 3.73-and-down carrier break. Gears are made from 8620 steel and precision heat treated to OE-level standards, then lapped for quiet running.

A 5.13 is a common pick for JK builds on 37s and up, where the engine struggles to pull the taller tire and crawl ratio suffers off-road. Matching the rear to a same-ratio front keeps the Jeep driving cleanly on and off the trail.

This is a gear set only. It does not include bearings, an install kit, a carrier or a locker. Plan on the matching Revolution JK rear master install kit and have an experienced installer set pinion depth, backlash and preload to spec.
