This Revolution Gear and Axle ring and pinion set delivers a 4.88 ratio for the 220MM rear Dana 44 in 2018-26 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT, as well as the 2021-26 Ford Bronco. It is a popular re-gear for trucks running 35s and lighter 37-inch setups.

The gears use a 2-Cut face hobbed process followed by lapping, mirroring OE manufacturing for quiet operation and durability. A 28-spline pinion and 8.66 inch ring gear fit the factory M220 housing, with a 3.07-and-up carrier break.

A 4.88 ratio is the sweet spot for many JL and Bronco owners who want noticeably better acceleration and crawl after a tire upgrade without giving up too much at highway speed. Pair it with the same ratio on the M210 front to keep both axles in sync.

Keep in mind this is a ring and pinion only. It does not come with bearings, an install kit, a carrier or a locker. Add the matching Revolution rear master install kit and have a qualified installer set pinion depth, backlash and preload.
