This Revolution Gear and Axle ring and pinion set is a 5.13 ratio rear gear for the 220MM Dana 44 in 2018-26 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT, plus 2021-26 Ford Bronco. It restores low-end gearing after a lift and big tires.

The gears are cut with a 2-Cut face hobbed process and lapped, the same approach used on OE gear sets, which keeps them quiet and gives them strong load-carrying ability. The set uses a 28-spline pinion and an 8.66 inch ring gear sized for the factory M220 housing, with a 3.07-and-up carrier break.

A 5.13 is a popular choice for JL and Bronco builds running 37s or larger, where the taller tire has killed off crawl ratio and highway response. Matching the rear to a same-ratio M210 front gives you balanced gearing front to rear.

This is a gear set only. It does not include bearings, an install kit, a carrier or a locker. Plan on the matching Revolution master install kit for the rear M220 and have the gears set up by an experienced installer, since pinion depth, backlash and preload must be dialed in to spec.
