ATS Trulok Torque Converter for Jeep (2012-18) 3.6L Wrangler, Nag1

The ATS Trulok Torque Converter is an ATS-built torque converter for 2012-2018 Jeep 3.6L, designed to hold the torque of a modified diesel without slipping. A stronger converter is usually the first drivetrain upgrade a modified diesel needs, since the factory converter clutch is the first thing to slip under added power.

The torque converter couples the engine to the transmission and multiplies torque when pulling away from a stop. Its lockup clutch is usually the first part to slip once a diesel makes more power, and slip turns into heat that kills transmission fluid.

ATS Diesel Performance has built diesel transmissions and performance parts since 1993. ATS designs, engineers, and manufactures most of its products in-house at its Arvada, Colorado facility, and tests them at altitude on the same long grades its customers tow on.
