PPE High Idle/Valet Switch, Chevy/GMC (2001-02) Duramax LB7

Allows for the engine idle to be set at 3 predetermined points (between 750 rpm and 1,800 rpm) to facilitate faster engine warm-ups, electrical system charging or even just to have the A/C or heater working at it's optimal capacity. There is a “Valet” setting as well, which governs the engine so that it reaches a maximum of 2,000rpm, a top speed of 55mph.
