Description
This is a PPE silicone-coated fiberglass heat sleeve with a 1/2″ ID. It slips over hoses, wiring, and lines to protect them from radiant heat in the engine bay and near the exhaust.
The fiberglass core provides the heat barrier, and the silicone coating adds abrasion resistance and helps the sleeve shed oil and fluids – a more durable, cleaner option than bare fiberglass sleeving.
It is used to shield fuel, oil, and coolant lines, and electrical harnesses, that run close to turbochargers, exhaust, and other hot components where heat can degrade them over time.
Slide the sleeve over the line and cut it to the length you need. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
