Description
This is a PPE 45-degree aluminum mandrel bend measuring 3.0" OD with a 5.0" centerline radius, formed from 12-gauge (0.080") aluminum. It’s an angled section for building custom intake and charge-air plumbing.
The mandrel-bent construction holds a consistent, full diameter through the bend for smooth, unrestricted airflow – something a crushed press bend can’t match. The 45-degree angle is one of the most useful for routing a run around obstacles.
It’s a common fabrication building block for custom intakes, intercooler pipes and turbo plumbing at 3.0". Cut it to length and weld it into your run wherever you need an angled transition.
The 12-gauge aluminum is light but strong enough for pressurized charge-air use. Deburr the cuts and weld clean for leak-free joints. Backed by a PPE 1-Year Limited Warranty.
