Description
This is a PPE 2.25in OD Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Tube with a 180-degree U-bend on a 3.5in centerline radius, a universal fabrication piece for custom plumbing.
Because it’s mandrel-bent, the tube keeps a smooth, consistent bore through the bend rather than crimping, which preserves flow. The 12-gauge (0.080in) aluminum wall is strong yet light and welds cleanly.
Fabricators use bends like this to route intake or charge-air piping around obstacles. Cut the U-bend to make one or two mating pieces as your build requires.
This is raw fabrication stock, not a bolt-on part – proper cutting, fitting, and welding are required. As a universal piece, match the 2.25in OD to your tubing and couplers. Covered by PPE’s 1-year limited warranty.
