Description
This is a PPE V-band flange in 3.5" size, made from aluminum – the male, engine-side half of a V-band flange pair. It is used to build a serviceable connection in aluminum charge-air plumbing.
The aluminum construction keeps the joint light and welds cleanly to 3.5" aluminum tubing. This flange pairs with a matching female flange and a V-band clamp to complete the connection.
It is aimed at fabricators building custom 3.5" aluminum connections that need to come apart for service. This is the flange only – the mating flange and clamp are sold separately. It is backed by PPE’s 1-year limited warranty.
