Description
This is the PPE 3.0" V-Band Kit, a 3-piece set with 1 quick-release stainless clamp, 1 male aluminum flange, and 1 female aluminum flange. It has everything to build one serviceable 3.0" V-band joint.
The quick-release clamp lets the joint open and close quickly for service, while the aluminum flanges keep weight down – a good match for charge-air and intercooler plumbing.
It is aimed at fabricators building a single custom charge-air connection on the 3.0" size, where a V-band joint is cleaner and easier to service than a bolted flange.
The aluminum flanges are weld-on pieces requiring proper aluminum welding into your tubing. Confirm 3.0" is the correct size for your build before ordering.
