Description
This is a PPE 1/4" NPT weld-on bung in 304 stainless steel. It creates a threaded port for adding a sensor, gauge fitting, or plug to tubing or a manifold.
304 stainless gives it the corrosion and heat resistance to live on exhaust, charge-air, or coolant plumbing without rusting out. The 1/4" NPT threads accept a wide range of common automotive sensors and fittings.
It is a staple for custom fabrication – welding in a port for an EGT probe, boost or pressure sensor, temperature sender, or a plug when the port is not in use.
This listing is the bung only. It requires welding into steel or stainless tubing, so plan for proper prep and a quality weld. Confirm 1/4" NPT matches your sensor or fitting before ordering.
