Description
This is a PPE 5-ply silicone reducer that steps 5.0″ down to 4.0″ over a 3.0″ length. It is a universal coupler for joining two large tube sizes in intake and charge-air plumbing.
The 5-ply, 6mm-thick wall lets the reducer hold boost pressure and resist engine-bay heat, and the silicone flexes to absorb vibration and engine movement between rigid pipes.
It is the piece to reach for when a build or repair puts a 5.0″ pipe next to a 4.0″ one – common on large intake tracts and intercooler routing.
Slip the reducer over both tube ends and secure each side with a properly sized T-bolt clamp for a pressure-tight connection. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
