Description
This is a PPE 45-degree silicone elbow in 4.0″ ID. It is a universal coupler for making a 45° direction change in large intake or charge-air plumbing.
The 5-ply, 6mm-thick wall gives the elbow the strength to hold boost pressure and resist engine-bay heat, while the smooth bend radius keeps airflow moving as the pipe turns. The silicone also flexes to absorb vibration and engine movement between rigid tubes.
It is a common piece in custom intake and intercooler routing where a 4.0″ pipe needs to clear an obstacle or line up with the next component at an angle.
Slip the elbow over both 4.0″ tube ends and secure each side with a properly sized T-bolt clamp. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
