Description
This is a PPE constant-tension T-bolt clamp for 2.25″ ID hose, with a 2.75″ clamp band and a 67–75mm range. The built-in spring makes it a constant-tension design.
As the engine heats and cools, hose and metal expand and contract at different rates. The constant-tension spring absorbs that movement and keeps clamping load steady, so the joint holds its seal through heat cycles instead of loosening over time.
It is a good fit for charge-air and intake couplers on trucks that see repeated heat cycling and boost, where a fixed clamp can back off and start to leak.
This clamp is used as a component in PPE kits and is also available on its own as a service part. Center it over the hose bead and torque the T-bolt evenly on install. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
