Description
This is a PPE T-bolt clamp with a constant-tension spring, sized for a 60–68mm range – a 2.5" ID clamp intended for 2.0" ID hose. It’s built for connections that need a strong, reliable seal under pressure.
The constant-tension spring is the key feature: it maintains clamp load as the hose and tube expand and contract through heat cycles, so the joint stays sealed instead of loosening over time. The T-bolt band grips harder and more evenly than a typical worm-gear clamp.
That makes it well suited to charge-air work – turbo and intercooler couplers that see boost and are prone to blowing off with weaker clamps. It also serves as a component in PPE hose and coupler kits, and is offered here individually.
