Description
This PPE hose clamp uses a W-style inner liner behind the worm-gear band. It clamps a 2.75" ID hose, with a 59–83mm range and a 14.2mm-wide band. The liner is what sets it apart from a plain clamp.
That W-style liner covers the slots in the band, so the clamp grips evenly all the way around instead of biting into the hose through the gaps. On silicone and softer rubber, that means a better seal and less chance of cutting the hose over time.
It’s a good choice for intake tubes, charge-air couplers and coolant connections where you want a clean, even clamp load. Match the clamp range to your hose OD and tighten to seat without over-crushing.
