Description
This PPE rear differential cover kit fits Ram 2500 gas trucks equipped with the 10.5" rear axle. It replaces the thin factory stamped cover with a cast, finned aluminum cover finished in black.
The cast design adds fluid capacity and the fins increase surface area, both of which help manage gear oil temperature during towing and hard use. The kit includes the cover and the hardware needed to install it.
A stronger cover is a worthwhile upgrade for trucks that tow or work hard, where extra fluid volume and cooling help protect the ring and pinion. It also stands up better to trail and road debris than the stamped OE piece.
