Description
This is PPE’s Rear Differential Cover Kit for the Ram 2500 gas truck with the 10.5in AAM rear axle, finished in brushed aluminum. It replaces the thin stamped-steel factory cover with a much stronger cast piece.
The heavy-duty cover adds fluid capacity and surface area to help the differential shed heat, and its thick walls protect the ring gear from rocks and debris. The kit includes the cover and the hardware needed to bolt it on.
This is a good upgrade for trucks that tow or work hard, where extra gear-oil capacity and cooling help the differential live longer. The brushed finish keeps it looking sharp while doing real work.
Installation is a straightforward cover swap; drain the old fluid, clean the mating surface, bolt on the new cover, and refill. Confirm your truck uses the 10.5in AAM rear axle before ordering. Covered by PPE’s lifetime limited warranty.
