The built-in low beam functionality lets riders reduce output in low-beam mode by about 25% of high beam, producing 1,435 lumens when full brightness isn't needed.

Paired with the signature XL Trail Lens, the XL40 produces both vertical and horizontal beam patterns with exceptional near-field and peripheral visibility. The Trail Lens redistributes center beam intensity to eliminate harsh hot spots — improving clarity through vertical transitions, quick elevation changes, and tight corners.
