I order the bumper may 1st. After 4 weeks I sent an email to see if they knew when the bumper would be sent. No response no email notification of when the bumper was shipped. Only knew when the bumper was going to be delivered when truck driver called. The bumper was very well package with a layer of foam cardboard and foam. Even with all the protecting packaging two small areas had the black powder coating rubbed off. I took care of that with some black gloss paint. Also found little pin holes in some of the powder coating I also painted over that. When it came to mount the bumper to my truck it took some time either the brackets on bumper were not welded square or the frame of my 19 year old truck GMC 2500Hd isn't square or a combination of both I had a tough time getting the bumper to slide on to the truck mounts. This bumper must be at least 200 lbs make sure you have helpers jacks and Jack stands. After getting the bumper on I went to the box which the hardware came in I was given 8 2in bolts 16 washers 8 lock washers and no instructions. I look through all the packing. Nothing plus at most with the bolt holes on the bumper the most bolts used would be 6. I sent an email to tough country bumpers requesting instructions to install what to toque the bolts to etc no response. The bottom back bolts that would mount the bumper to the frame I had no idea how to either get the bolt to fall down through the frame or send the bolt up and catch a nut which I couldn't hold onto. I ended up cutting up my old tow hooks so they would fit inside the frame and would be the "nuts" for the bolts. Worked out really well I think modifying the tow hooks improves mounting by having more points of contact. Would I buy again yes the bumper looks mean it is way more stout the the factory. I am not worried about deer anymore. My old bumper was rusted out the kit ranged from 200-500 the old metal part of bumper may have weighed 50 lbs it just so weak like a soda can and new bumper is like keg. So spending the extra amount to me seems like the right thing to do. I didn't get the euro bar or shack mounts but also like the bumper you can use it as a seat or a work station. My only gripe was the lack of communication and no instructions. I have no real faults with the bumper.
