Q: COVID-19 Situation

Due to current events with the COVID-19 crisis, UPS, FedEx & USPS are not guaranteeing shipping timeframes. In addition to that many suppliers are working with reduced staffing levels causing back orders. We are doing everything we can to make sure orders ship out orders as quickly as possible and ask for your understanding during these unprecedented times.

KT Performance recommends contacting us before placing any order to review inventory, and ETA if not in stock.

Part inventory changes by the minute. We check all warehouses & our dealer network to find inventory to get your parts to you as fast as we can. In some cases your order may not be in-stock and will need to be placed on backorder. We will notify you via email a estimated ETA as quickly as possible. Cancellations are NOT allowed on special order parts.

If you place an order with KT Performance and choose to cancel your order before receiving your parts, KT Performance will refund your order minus a 5% cancellation processing fee.

Once again, KT Performance recommends contacting us before placing ANY orders to review inventory and ETAs.

Q: Will I receive a tracking number?

Yes, we will always provide a tracking number when possible. However some vendors will ship USPS and do not have a tracking number to provide.

Q: Why did my package arrive with a different carrier than I selected?

Some vendors will only ship with their preferred carrier. We will always try to use the carrier that you select but we do reserve the right to choose the best carrier for your order.

Q: Where is my item shipped from?

KT Performance ships products from our location in Groveland Florida as well as several warehouses and manufactures. We will try to ship from the closest location that has your product in stock so that it arrives as soon as possible.

Q: What is the Core Charge?

The core charge is a fee that is charge unless we receive your parts that you are replacing. You can avoid a core charge be sending in your parts first and allowing us to hold your new parts until your old ones arrive. Your old parts must be in rebuildable condition. Some manufactures will not give full/any core credit if the items are damaged. Cores must be returned within 60 days of product delivery. After 60 days, 10% deducted with an additional 10% each following month.

Q: What if the item I’m looking for is not on the website?

If you can not find what you are looking for, you can either email us at sales@ktperformance.net or call us toll free at 1-855-KT PERFORMANCE (1-855-587-3736). We have access to thousands of products that are not on our website. We are always adding more products but let us know if you have something in mind that you would like to see added.

Q: What if I don’t know what tunes are best for my truck with the 6 position chip?

You can either email us at sales@ktperformance.net or call us toll free at 1-855-KT PERFORMANCE (1-855-587-3736), we will be happy to discus your needs and help you choose the right tunes.

Q: How long will it take for delivery?

Most items arrive in 1-5 business days. However some item such as bumpers need to be sent truck freight and may take a week and half for shipping. Some items may also be on back order by the manufacturer, which will extend the delivery time. You will be notified if you order is on back order.

Q: How do I find my PCM code for the 6 position chip?

The PCM is located next to the parking brake on the side wall under the dash. Make sure you disconnect your batteries and keep that key out of the ignition. Under the hood - Remove the harness plug from the PCM (have to use a 10mm socket to loosen the bolt in the center first)...the code is on the fender side of the PCM where the harness plugs in. You will need a flashlight and small mirror to read the code. If you can not see the code or don’t have a small mirror, go under your dash behind the E-brake pedal and remove the 2 7mm screws that hold the black plastic PCM bracket and remove the entire PCM. The PCM code will be 4 bold digits. It is three letters and one number (example: PMT1 or XLE4).

Q: How do I return my order?

Returns are handled on a case by case basis; therefore you will need to contact us to determine the proper approach. Thing that effect how a return is handled are… How long since it was ordered? What is the item? Why is it being returned? Is it damaged?

If you select during the order process or at other times when you submit personally identifiable information, the information you provide may be used by KT Performance to create and deliver to you our newsletters, surveys or other communications containing product information. If you prefer not to receive such Communications, please do not select the ‘Please inform me option’. If you do select this option and later decide that you would no longer like to receive these communications, please use the features made available to you.

Q: Brochure Mailing List

If you have requested a KT Performance brochure, all information is kept completely confidential and is not shared with any third parties. We may, on occasion, send you an updated catalog or brochure. If you do not wish to receive any mail from KT Performance, please contact us via email at sales@ktperformance.net Include your name and mailing address and email address. You will be removed from any future mailings.

Q: Communications to Serve You

If you have elected to provide us with your contact information, e.g., by registering at the Site, emailing our Customer Service department or placing an order, we may provide you with service related announcements concerning the Site or contact you regarding your customer service requests or your order. For example, all registered users will receive an email to confirm their order. These types of communications are necessary to serve you, respond to your concerns and to provide the high level of customer service that KT Performance offers its customers.

Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information

We will never provide your personally identifiable information to third parties for their use in marketing their products or services to you without your consent. KT Performance takes great pride in having you as a customer and we will ensure your privacy as a customer. KT Performance does not sell or exchange names or any other information about our customers with third parties.

Q: Fraud Protection and Compliance with Law

We may disclose any information, including personally identifiable information, we deem necessary, in our sole discretion, to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request. We may also exchange information, including personally identifiable information, with other companies and organizations for credit fraud protection and risk reduction.

Q: Service Providers

We may retain other companies and individuals to perform functions consistent with our Privacy Policy on our behalf. Examples include customer support specialists, web hosting companies, fulfillment companies (e.g., companies that fill product orders or coordinate mailings), data analysis firms and email service providers. Such third parties may be provided with access to personally identifiable information needed to perform their functions, but may not use such information for any other purpose.

YOUR DOMAIN NAME HERE does recognize your ISP (internet service provider), however, we cannot identify you as an individual. If you make an on-line purchase we do collect information (such as sales statistics and traffic patterns) to help improve your shopping experience. We keep all information confidential.

We may use the information you provide in aggregate (non-personally identifiable) form for internal business purposes, such as generating statistics and developing marketing plans. Q: Security

KT Performance seeks to protect the security of your personal information both online and offline. All credit card transactions are secure. Every on-line order is encrypted and sent through a secure server, using SSL technology to prevent information from being intercepted.

Confidential information such as your credit card number will be used only to fulfill your order. To protect your privacy, we will ask you to enter your credit card number and expiration date each time you place an order with us. This way, even if someone else accesses the account information stored on your computer, they won't be able to use your credit card.

E-mail is not encrypted and is not a secure means to transmit credit card numbers. We will only display the last 4 digits of your credit card number on your account.

KT Performance reserves the right to revise this Privacy Policy in the future by posting changes at this location and we may make changes at any time without notification.

Shipping & Returns

Q: When will my order ship?

We have multiple warehouses around the country that we ship from, Orders received by 5PM Eastern Standard Time M-F typically are processed the same day received. Shipping times will vary depending on your location and selected shipping options. Typical shipping times range from 1-5 business days and may vary during the holiday season.

If your order has multiple items you may receive different packages and different times depending on what warehouse/warehouses items ship from. Tracking information will be emailed over once our system receives it.

For UPS and USPS shipments you can track the progress of the order using their order tracking number available on your order information page. Shipping delays can occur when the wrong address or zip code is submitted for the shipping address. If the shipping company cannot deliver the package we will contact you via phone or e-mail.

Some items are built to order and can take longer to be shipped out.

Q: What shipping options are available?

KT Performance offers our customers the option of selecting ground, 2nd day, next day, international standard, and international priority using UPS, FedEx & USPS. Some larger items such as bumpers must be shipped truck freight due to their weight and size.

Q: What is the cost of shipping?

We offer FREE shipping to the contiguous 48 states on all non-LTL orders over $100 for retail customers. Most LTL items also do have free shipping as well as many items less the $100. We even offer many items to Alaska & Hawaii with free shipping where we can. Our goal is to make no surprises when you get to the checkout stage of ordering. International order shipping is calculated at checkout where you will also have the option to pre-pay the duties and taxes.

Q: How much time before cores must be returned?

Cores must be returned within 60 days with appropriate paperwork. After 60 days, 10% will be deducted from the refund with an additional 10% each following month.

Q: How long before I receive my Refund?

If you place an order with KT Performance and choose to cancel your order before receiving your parts, KT Performance will refund your order minus a 5% cancellation processing fee.

Once the cancelation has been approved, we will refund to the same method that we received payment.
Canceled orders are processed with our accounting department within 2-3 business days.
Once the refund is processed on our end, it could take 1-3 Business days before the funds reflect in your account depending on how fast your bank processes the transaction.

Q: How are returns handled?

If an item needs to be returned, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees and should obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. Please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-855-KTPERFORMANCE to discuss the reason for the return and make the necessary arrangements. The restock fee for returned items is minimum of 15% and subject to change based on manufacturer policies. The amount of the refund will not include the shipping cost or the return shipping cost. If an item was sold with free shipping, we reserve the right to deduct that shipping cost from the refund. Items must be returned in new condition along with original packaging and paperwork. Customized products are not returnable.

Credit for returned parts will be issued once KT Performance receives, inspects and approves returned merchandise. Follow instructions and warnings on packaging before opening. Pay attention to the label on the outside of the box to ensure your new parts match the vehicle to which you are fitting them. You are responsible for repackaging returned items to the same standard in which they were received. Poorly repackaged products are highly likely to be damaged during the return and thus credit denied. Customers are reminded to unpack, dry fit and examine all parts before installation.

For Non-Defective Parts: The item must have been purchased from KT Performance within the past 30 days. The original invoice number must also be provided. Products must be in the condition you received them in and must be in the original box and/or packaging.

For Defective/Warranty Parts: The item must not have exceeded the manufacturer warranty period. We will act as a liaison to resolve the issue or get you the proper contact with the manufacture to handle your warranty claim. Contact us to find out the proper way to handle the warranty based on the product/manufacturer.

For All Parts: KT Performance must first be contacted either by phone, or by email. The return must be approved by the KT Performance Returns Department prior to shipping your parts. This insures that they will be expecting your parts to arrive and that you ship the item to the correct address. The returned items must match the parts and descriptions given in the RMA.

KT Performance reserves the right to refuse credit according to, but not limited to, the following conditions:
- The Item is returned for a non-warrantable reason.
- The Item is not as described on the RMA.
- The Manufacturer requires that you deal directly with them regarding defective items.
- The Manufacturer's Warranty policy takes precedent on issuing of credits. Credit may then be issued upon the Manufacturer’s approval. No credit will be issued for labor expenses incurred. Other Manufacturer related fees may apply.
- Items returned because of missing parts will be handled by the Manufacturer.

If you received an incorrect item(s), you need to notify KT Performance within 5 business days of receiving your order. KT Performance will coordinate the return of the item(s) you received. Once received and inspected to insure that they are still in new condition, including the packaging, KT Performance send correct item(s) out to you or refund you at the their desecration. You will be fully responsible for maintaining the condition of the incorrect item(s) that you received until they are returned to KT Performance.

If a return for refund has been approved, we will refund to the same method that we received payment (IE: your credit card that was used to make the purchase). If it has beyond the timeframe that we can refund your credit card (normally 5 months) and we must mail a check, the 5% check fee will be applied. We will submit for the refund once the returned item has been inspected and credit approved (normally 1-2 days after receiving the item).

Q: Do you ship outside the continental U.S.?

We currently ship to all over the world. At the time of checkout, you will be given the option to pre-pay the duties and taxes if you prefer.
