Description: 1st annual Just Eliminate Suicide Classic Car Show to Benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Organized by a local family who lost their 20-year-old son to suicide, the goal of this event is to increase awareness of mental illness and suicide and provide support to survivors of suicide loss. The event is free and open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature live music, food, merchandise and community resource booths, raffle prizes, awards, and a sandwich-eating contest at 12 noon. Registration fee is $25 ($35 on-site) and includes lunch and a t-shirt. All funds raised from the Just Eliminate Suicide Classic Car Show will support the establishment of an Inland Empire Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). AFSP is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
